The DC Postsecondary Success Collaborative invests in the educators, advisors, career navigators, and other practitioners who support learners on their postsecondary journeys. By convening and equipping a cross-sector network across education, workforce, nonprofit, research, government, philanthropy, and higher education, we strengthen advising, improve collaboration, and build a more connected postsecondary ecosystem for DC. We envision a future where every DC learner can access the postsecondary pathway that's right for them and build toward a family-sustaining career.
Who We Are
What We Do
We invest in the educators, advisors, career navigators, and other practitioners who help DC learners navigate education and career pathways. Through professional learning, cross-sector collaboration, and strategic partnerships, we strengthen the systems that support postsecondary success across the District.
Build Practitioner Capacity
We equip learner-facing professionals with the knowledge, tools, and peer networks they need to better support learners across multiple postsecondary pathways. Through Roundtables, Knowledge Networks, DC Postsecondary Success Summit, Practitioner Forum, and other learning opportunities, practitioners strengthen their skills while learning from one another.
Align Leaders & Systems
We connect leaders across education, workforce, government, philanthropy, and nonprofit organizations to strengthen coordination and advance shared priorities. Through leadership convenings, strategic partnerships, and participation in citywide initiatives like Compact 2043, we help align efforts across DC's postsecondary ecosystem.
Share Knowledge & Drive Action
We translate emerging research, local data, promising practices, and practitioner insights into actionable resources that organizations can apply in their work. By connecting what's happening across the ecosystem, we help practitioners make more informed decisions and continuously improve support for learners.
