Dr. Waldon is an Educational Leader with over 18 years of professional education service acquired through a truly diverse pathway. Her educational leadership experience includes Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Compliance, Assistant Principal, and Principal in various school settings, including Title I public/charter and postsecondary schools. Dr. Waldon is passionate about the process of accreditation, assessment, and compliance and believes that collectively, all of these provide schools and school districts the opportunity to offer a constructive lens to drive school improvement. As a leader, she strives to push policies and practices from leaders and faculty/staff to ensure equity and accessibility to all students. A native of Virginia (Hampton Roads), Dr. Waldon lives in Maryland with her husband and has worked as a school administrator for the past 10 years in southeast Washington, DC.
