Our Team
Amelia Hogan is a seasoned education leader with over 17 years of experience spanning K-12, state education agencies, and higher education leadership. She specializes in postsecondary success, focusing on scaling innovative models that bridge gaps in readiness. For the past decade+ in DC, Amelia has led efforts to design, implement, and evaluate postsecondary readiness strategies, with a particular emphasis on career and technical education (CTE), work-based learning, and college access strategies. She’s also deeply committed to building educator capacity through impactful training programs.
A passionate advocate for equity, Amelia is driven by the belief that our education and workforce systems are rooted in racism and other inequities. She’s dedicated to closing opportunity gaps by ensuring access to high-quality resources and support for all students, regardless of their background. She welcomes collaboration with mission-driven organizations and individuals who are committed to making meaningful change. She now partners with organizations locally and nationally as the founder and principal consultant at PathForward Partners.
Amelia holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University (go Hoosiers!) and a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University (go Bobcats!). Proud of her Appalachian roots in southeastern Ohio, she credits her 19 years of public education with shaping her commitment to service and lifelong learning.
Now a longtime DC resident, Amelia enjoys life with her husband and two kiddos. You can often find her at local playgrounds, sharing coffee and conversation with friends, or heading to a yoga or Pilates class.
